Differential diagnosis please...This is a dildo. The top part is an engine. You may have seen this thing in the battery operated toys. The lowermost part is the thing where batteries are kept.
The insertion was via the rectum up to the sigmoid colon. From that point, it was impossible to the person to remove it and he had to go to the emergency department. He got operated and the thing was removed.
These cases are more frequent than you imagine. Many of these patients tell that it "fell on them or use some method of accidental rectal penetration as an explanation of why they are there in the emergency department .Some even go further and they say things like "I was attacked by a group of men who did this to me." Almost all of these types of cases are patients trying to achieve or enhance sexual pleasure through anal or rectal stimulation.
